India and Pakistan on Wednesday pledged to fight together the menace of terrorism. In a joint statement issued after the meeting of their Foreign Ministers, the two sides also announced additional Confidence Building Measures on Kashmir, including increasing Cross-LoC trade. External Affairs Minister S M Krishna and his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar also discussed Jammu and Kashmir, progress in the Mumbai attacks trial in Pakistan, humanitarian issues, commercial and economic cooperation. They agreed to convene separate meetings of the expert groups on nuclear and conventional CBMs in Islamabad in September 2011.
