Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Shashank Manohar has rejected Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chief Shahryar Khan's claim that India have got clearance from the government to host a bilateral series with Pakistan in December.

The PCB chief had earlier told the media in Lahore that he was given a formal proposal during a phone call with Mr Manohar. BCCI President Shashank Manohar told PTI that they have not even approached the government yet for clearance and any statement to this effect is not correct. Shahryar Khan also claimed that BCCI has promised fool-proof security for Pakistan team during the proposed series.
