India opener Murali Vijay at career-best 43 in latest ICC rankings;Shikhar enters list at 61

India opener Murali Vijay obtaining a career-best 43rd rank in the latest ICC rankings for Test batsmen is among the highlights in the game. The 153-run knock against Australia in the Mohali Test helped Vijay jump 16 places in the rankings. But, Cheteshwar Pujara dropped out of top-10. He is now ranked 12th after sliding down two positions. Virat Kohli also achieved his career-best rank of 20th by gaining four places. Pujara and Kohli are the only Indian batsmen inside top-20 as Sachin Tendulkar has lost two positions to be 21st. Shikhar Dhawan, who hit a breathtaking 187 on debut to set up India's six-wicket victory in Mohali, has entered the rankings in 61st position.
