Indian shuttler Parupalli Kashyap will today take on South Korea's Shon Wan Ho in the semi-finals of the Men's Singles category in the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament, taking place at the Sirifort Sports Complex in New Delhi.Kashyap on Friday edged past fellow Indian Ajay Jayaram to qualify for the London Olympics after third seed Chen Jin of China gave him a walk over in the quarter-finals due to a wrist injury.Kashyap is the lone Indian left in the tournament. Indian shuttlers, who on Friday bowed out of the competition, include the duo of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa in the Women's Doubles, the pair of Rupesh Kumar KT and Sanave Thomas in the Men's Doubles and PV Sindhu in the Men's Singles.Earlier in the tourament, India's Shuttle queen Saina Nehwal had crashed out of the Women's Singles section after losing in the pre-quarterfinals. Saina lost to South Korea's unseeded Bae Youn Joo in straight games, 19-21, 10-21.
