Ten Indian shuttlers, including Saina Nehwal and P. Kashyap, have progressed into the pre-quarterfinals of the India Open Super Series Badminton tournament at New Delhi.In the opening round yesterday, world number eight Saina sailed past Austria's Simone Prutsch, 21-7, 21-9. Sayali Gokhale and Trupti Murgunde also made it to the pre-quarterfinals. PV Sindhu, however, made an exit after losing to China's world number two Shixian Wang, 15-21, 21-12, 10-21. In the Men's Singles, P. Kashyap, Sourabh Verma and RMV Gurusaidutt booked a place in the pre-quarterfinals.In the Women's Doubles, the pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa and the duo of Dhanya Nair and Mohita Sahdev advanced to the pre-quarterfinals. All of them will play today for a place in the quarterfinals.
