India has once again emerged as the largest trading partner of United Arab Emirates. According to the reports released by the National Bureau of Statistics in Abu Dhabi, India is the top non-oil exporting nation to UAE. The export volume from India to UAE went up by 33.7 percent in 2011-12. Switzerland came second followed by South Africa in the third place. India was also the largest importer for UAE. The imports were around 17.3 percent followed by China and US. Over the years, India has consistently been the largest trading partner of UAE reflecting the strength of bilateral trade and economic ties between the two countries.
