India are strongly placed against New Zealand in the first Cricket test at Hyderabad. When rain stopped play on the third day on Saturday , the Kiwis, after being asked to follow on, were 41 for one in their second innings. Earlier, resuming their first innings at the overnight 106 for five, the visitors were all out for 159, giving the hosts a huge first innings lead of 279 runs.
