The Navies of India and Oman have started a joint naval exercise in Oman from today. The exercise is seen important keeping in view the increased piracy related incident in this part of sea. The Ambassador of India in Oman, Mr. Anil Wadhwa told our Dubai correspondent that two Indian naval ships are participating in this exercise, which is taking place on Wudam coast of Oman. He said that this is the seventh naval exercise between two countries since 1993. In addition to Royal Navy of Oman, several aircraft from Royal Air Force of Oman are also participating in this exercise, including maritime patrol aircraft and Jaguars.<br/>
