India offers Saudi Arabia to assist in producing good quality drugs

India today offered Saudi Arabia to assistance in producing good quality generic drugs at affordable prices. In a meeting with Speaker of Majlis Ash Shura of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh in New Delhi today, Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said around two million Indians in Saudi Arabia account for the largest expatriate community in the country. He said that India can help Saudi Arabia with know how of setting up medical colleges as also with medicine supplies. Mr. Azad also informed that India is the fourth largest producer of pharmaceuticals in the world.
