The Asia Oceania Group I Davis Cup Tennis relegation play-off tie between India and New Zealand begins in Chandigarh tomorrow. In the first Singles of the Best of Five Tie, Yuki Bhambri will face Kiwi number two player Daniel King Turner. The second Singles will be played between Vishnu Vardhan and Kiwi number one Jose Statham. In the Doubles match on Saturday, Vishnu will combine with Divij Sharan against the Kiwi pair of Michael Venus and Artem Sitak. In the two Reverse Singles on Sunday, Yuki will play Statham in the fourth rubber, while Vishnu will face Daniel in the fifth and last match. According to India's non-playing captain S P Misra,if India could seal the fate on the first two days itself, then local lad Sanam Singh will certainly be playing on the last day in place of Vishnu. New Zealand captain Marcel Vos said it will be a test for his players to do well in the Tie. He said the conditions are challenging but they would play their best tennis. The draw took place at the Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh today.
