Prasar Bharati Chairman Dr A Surya Prakash has said, India is not only the world's largest democracy but also the most vibrant.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking at a session on 'Religion and the Media' at the Global Conference for Media Freedom in London, he said, it is also the most diverse society in the world.<br />'' <br />'' Slamming the editor of an Indian magazine for his blatant anti-India presentation during the session, he said, many of his statements were false and inaccurate.<br />'' <br />'' The Prasar Bharati Chairman also pointed out that India has a free and responsible media which reported on social tensions and, ironically, all this reportage was used by the presenter to debunk India's free and media.<br />'' <br />'' The Chairman of the session Lord Ahmad of Wimbledon immediately took note of Mr Prakash's observations and said he had the highest respect for India's democracy. He said India's standing in the democratic world should not be in question.<br />
