International Olympic Committee, IOC, President Thomas Bach has expressed surprise at media reports that India may bid for 2024 Olympics. Clearing the air, IOC President said it's too early for India to host Olympics. Mr. Bach who is on a one day official visit to India, said a year after returning from Olympic suspension, Indian Olympic Association still needs to find its feet. He said its too quick as of now for India to host the Olympics in 2024.On his visit, Thomas Bach met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed India's Olympic candidature in the future. He said he wants India to be well prepared as from now to September, it would be difficult to get everything ready in time. He added both the IOC and Prime Minister will be in contact about this in the future.Earlier Mr. Bach had a meeting with top IOA members and he also had an hour-long meeting with sports minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
