India, New Zealand hold Foreign Office Consultations in New Delhi

India and New Zealand today held Foreign Office Consultations in New Delhi where all aspects of bilateral relations were reviewed. The consultation was held between Secretary East in the External Affairs Ministry Preeti Saran and Foreign Secretary of New Zealand Dr. Brook Barrington. <br/><br/>The two countries have witnessed a significant increase in bilateral interactions over the past few years and there is a growing convergence of strategic perspectives. India contributes second largest number of tourists to New Zealand. More than 30 thousand Indian students study in various academic institutions in that country .<br/><br/>During his visit, Dr. Barrington also met Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar, Defence Secretary Sanjay Mitra and Commerce Secretary Rita Teotia.
