India and Nepal have signed four Memoranda of Understanding for various development projects in Nepal that included a 812 crore rupees 680-Km long highway in Terai region. Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sujata Koirala and visiting Indian External Affairs Minister S.M.Krishna signed the MoUs in Kathmandu last evening.<br/><br/>Three other pacts relating to electrification of five villages of Nepal, establishment of science learning centre in Lalitpur and an agreement on setting up of central depository services for Nepal Stock Exchange were also signed by the officials of the two countries in the presence of two foreign ministers.<br/><br/>Mr Krishna will lay the foundation stone of an Integrated Check Post on Indo-Nepal border in Birgunj today. He is also scheduled to meet the President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and the Nepali Congress President Mr Girija Prasad Koirala.
