India-Nepal petroleum products pipeline inaugurated

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepal counterpart KP Sharma Oli today jointly inaugurated South Asia's first cross-border petroleum products pipeline from Motihari in India to Amlekhgunj in Nepal through video conference.<br />'' <br />'' Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, the 69-kilometre Motihari-Amlekhgunj pipeline, having a capacity of two million metric ton per annum, will provide cleaner petroleum products at an affordable cost to the people of Nepal.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Modi reiterated India's commitment to supporting the development of Nepal according to the priorities of the neighbouring country.<br />'' <br />'' He expressed confidence that bilateral relations between India and Nepal will continue to further deepen and expand across diverse sectors.<br />'' <br />'' The Prime Minister noted that regular exchanges at highest political levels have laid down a forward-looking agenda for expanding India-Nepal partnership.<br />''  <br />''<br />''Addressing the gathering, the Nepalese Prime Minister expressed appreciation for early implementation of the important connectivity project which was completed much ahead of schedule.</span><br />
