India-Myanmar-Thailand road pact to be signed soon: Gadkari

India will sign a trilateral road agreement with Myanmar and Thailand in the coming days to promote trade and tourism in the region. Road Transport, Highways and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari said this at a media conclave in New Delhi yesterday.<br/><br/>The pact between India-Myanmar-Thailand (IMT) will provide a seamless vehicular movement between SAARC and ASEAN nations and will enhance trade, business, health, education and tourism between India and the two countries.<br/><br/>Mr Gadkari said, the landmark Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal (BBIN) Motor Pact has already been inked with identification of 14 routes for passenger services and 7 routes for cargo movement.
