India, Mexico agree to promote tourism between two countries

India and Mexico agreed to promote tourism between the two countries. A five-member Mexican delegation led by its Tourism Minister called on Tourism and Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation Minister Kumari Selja in New Delhi today.Welcoming the Mexican delegation, Ms Selja hoped the relations between the two countries would get strengthened by promotion of tourism and exchange of visits by travel and tour operators, travel media, opinion makers, in each others country. The Minister said the Indian Council of Cultural Relations has a proposal to open an Indian Cultural Centre in Mexico City which will provide an excellent platform for promoting Indian culture, cuisine and arts in Mexico. She lauded the success of Incredible India Campaign and overseas marketing.
