India medals Tally rises to 33 with 20 Golds in SAG at Dhaka

India today won five golds and two silver and a bronze in shooting at the the South Asian Games in Dhaka. The Indian women shooters dominated the 25 metre pistol event winning all the medals in the individual event.India's Sonia Rai won Gold with a score of 576, while the Silver went to Divya Singh with a score of 563. Sushma Singh won the Bronze with a score of 562. The three shooters also picked up the Gold for the team event in the same category.In the fifty metre rifle prone event, Kuheli Gangulee won the Gold while team mate Ruby Garg got the Silver in the indvidual event. The two shooters along with Hema Khatri Chetri won the the Gold in the team event also.In the shooting competition for men, Imran Hasan Khan won the Gold in the 10 metre air rifle individual event. The Indian mens team of Imran Hasan Khan, Satyender Singh and Dhirender Singh Jamwal could only manage a Silver for the team with Bangladesh winning the Gold. With these wins , India's medal tally at the games goes up to 33 with 20 golds, five silver and eight bronze.
