India’s Mars Orbiter Mission is likely to reach its destination on
24th September this year.

The spacecraft is now on its course.
Minister of State in PMO Jitendra Singh stated this in the Lok Sabha today.

He informed the House that the Mars Orbiter Mission would enable technological upgradation for the country.

It would provide excellent opportunities in planetary research for the country’s scientists. Besides, it would generate national pride and excitement in young minds, he said.
