India and Mali have inked two agreements in the fields of Standards and Cultural exchange. Official sources said, the agreements were signed after delegation-level talks between the two countries in the presence of Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Mali Prime Minister Modibo Keita in Bamako last night. A number of issues, including terrorism, are expected to have come up during the bilateral meeting between Mr Ansari and Mr Keita.<br/><br/>Today, the Vice President will call on President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita. He will also address the National Assembly before leaving for home in the evening. Mr Ansari had reached Mali yesterday after concluding his visit to Nigeria. AIR correspondent, covering the visit, reports that this visit to Mali is the first high-level tour to the country by an Indian leader.
