India, Malaysia to sign three pacts

India and Malaysia are expected to sign three pacts, including an extradition treaty. The Malaysian Prime Minister, Mr. Najib Tun Razak arrived on a five day visit to India this evening. During his stay in New Delhi, he will hold delegation level talks with Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh tomorrow. It will be followed by signing of agreements.<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Mr. Razak will hold discussions with Indian leaders on a wide range of issues, including promotion of trade and investment. More than a dozen MoUs will be inked between the business chambers of the two countries during his visit. Mr. Razak will be accorded ceremonial reception at the Forecourts of Rashtrapati Bhawan tomorrow morning. He will call on President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and hold discussions with the Indian leaders, including UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and leader of the opposition Sushma Swaraj. He will also visit Chennai before returning back home on Saturday.
