India and Malaysia have agreed to proactively engage to combat the menace of ISIS activities. In his delegation level meeting with the visiting Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Dato Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in New Delhi today, Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that India is concerned about the danger of enhanced activities of ISIS in democratic countries like India and Malaysia. <br/><br/>He said, ISIS have started using India and Malaysia as recruiting ground and attracts youngsters with their extremist ideology.<br/>Mr Singh said, there is need to strengthen intelligence sharing between the two countries to thwart the ISIS ideology from poisoning the minds of youngsters. <br/><br/>Expressing satisfaction at the close bilateral security cooperation especially on counter-terrorism, Rajnath Singh lauded the Malaysian Government for its cooperation over the last few years in apprehending some of the terrorists who are wanted in India. The two sides also discussed the issues such as extradition treaty and fake Indian Currency Notes.
