India makes good start in Kandy test against Sri Lanka

On day one of the Kandy cricket test, India's domination over the Sri Lankan bowlers continue unabated.The only wicket fell was of KL Rahul who made 85 runs. The opening duo of Dhawan and Rahul brought up its 50-partnership off just 55 balls in the 10th over and kept up this pace of scoring to reach 100 off 107 balls in the 18th over.Earlier, the Visitors won the toss and decided to bat first. Holding a two-nil lead after winning the first two matches by comprehensive margins, Virat Kohli and his men stand on the cusp of history, aiming to become the first Indian team to complete a whitewash in an overseas three-Test series. India have never won a full Test series abroad in 85 years since their debut in 1932.
