Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar gave a blistering start to India in the first one-day international against Sri Lanka at Madhavrao stadium in Rajkot on Tuesday. Both scored quick half centuries before Sachin Tendulkar was bowled by Dilhara Fernando at 69. India was at 216 for 1 with Sehwag at 107 and Dhoni at 25 on crease when news last came in.Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and put India to bat. In the Indian team, Virat Kohli is playing in place of Yuvraj Singh who has failed to recover from a finger injury. The visiting team is also without its two star bowlers Muttiah Muralitharan, who had a finger injury and Lasith Malinga who is down with flu.
