Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said that India made a qualitative shift in the last decade from Look East to Act East Policy, of which ASEAN is a critical element. The delegation of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly today called on the Vice President and Chairman of Rajya Sabha Jagdeep Dhankhar at Parliament House. During the meeting, Mr. Dhankhar underlined India's support for ASEAN unity. During the talks, the Chairman said, people-centric and result-oriented parliamentary diplomacy can contribute to building a peaceful, secure and prosperous Indo-Pacific region.
