India has lost the Davis Cup World Group Play off tie to Serbia, 3-2. In a continued match from yesterday, India's Yuki Bhambri lost to Serbian Filip Krajinovic in straight sets 3-6, 4-6, 4-6 in reverse singles match.Earlier, in the starting of the Davis cup tie on Friday at Bangalore, India had lost both of it's singles matches to Serbian team lagging 2-Nil behind.On Saturday, India stayed alive in the hunt as duo of Leander Paes and Rohan Bopanna defeated the Serbian pair of Nenad Zimonjic and Ilija Bozoljac. And the effort was continued yesterday as Somdev Devarman defeated his opponent in the reverse singles match. However, the World number 2 Serbian team proved too strong as they won the final tie by defeating Yuki Bhambri in rain affected reverse singles match.
