The Indian junior men's hockey team has ended as runner-up in the Sultan of Johor Cup tournament. In the summit-clash at Johor Bahru, Malaysia, today, India, who were the defending champions, lost 3-4 to Great Britain in nail-biting penalty shoot. The teams were level 2-2 after full time. The Great Britain team had earlier defeated India in the league matches. India had earlier finished at the top of the table in the league phase, just losing one match ironically to Great Britain. Sumit Kumar and Harmanpreet Singh with three goals each have been the top scorers for India in the tournament.
