India has lodged strong protest over firing by Pakistan forces on unarmed fishermen near Indo-Pak International Maritime boundary line on 11th of this month in which one person died.

The External Affairs Ministry summoned Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner in New Delhi on Monday evening and condemned the incident.

The MEA spokesperson said that New Delhi has asked Islamabad for through investigation of the incident of in-discriminatory firing. It has also asked Islamabad to share the result of the investigation at an early.
