The Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma has said that India is likely to meet its export targets for the current year. He, however, said that this depends on the global situation and how strong the demand is for Indian goods in the traditional destinations. Sharma said that the government will conduct a sectorial review of the export sector. He assured that the government will intervene and see what more support could be given in the form of other incentives in the sectors which continue to remain under pressure.
