India is likely to enter into a frame work of cooperation with Kazakhstan in hydro Carbon sector soon after its will be approved by the Kazakh government. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Minister Mr S.M Krishna will be visiting Kazakhstan next month and the road map for cooperation in this area will be finalized. <br/><br/>Briefing media on the Prime Minister’s bilateral meeting with the President Nazarbayev on Monday, the External Affairs Ministry spokesman said that Indian companies have been invited to invest in 170 projects in Kazkhstan. <br/><br/>The Kazakh President also invited Indian companies to set up thermal power plants in his country. <br/><br/>India and Kazakhstan have already concluded an agreement on civil nuclear energy. <br/><br/>While appreciating India’ s role in Afghanistan ‘s reconstruction, Nazarbayev said that once the situation stabilizes in Afghanistan a direct surface link could be established between India and Kazakhstan. <br/><br/>With regard to bilateral talks with the Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the spokesman said that India and Canada will be signing the civil nuclear deal soon. <br/><br/>The two had concluded the inter governmental agreement on the issue. <br/><br/>He said that issues related to trade and economic cooperation was discussed. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister is likely to visit Canada which is hosting the G 20 summit in June. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister also met his Moroccan counterpart Abbas el Fassi. <br/><br/>Morocco supported India’s candidature at the UN Security Council.<br/><br/>Cooperation in renewable energy mainly solar and wing energy and phosphates was also discussed. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will be meeting the President of France tomorrow at 11.30 local time. <br/>
