Indian women lifted the title of Asian Cricket Council Women's Twenty-20 Asia Cup cricket tournament by defeating their arch rival Pakistan by 18 runs in the final match at Guangzhou in China. Chasing the victory target of 82 runs, set by the Indian women, Pakistani women were all out for 63 in 19.1 overs. For India A Das and N Niranjana took 2 wickets each.Earlier Indian women won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 81 runs in stipulated 20 overs setting the target of 82 runs for Pakistan. P G Raut made 25 runs and H Kaur 20. For Pakistan Sana Mir was the most successful bowler claiming 4 wickets. Despite rain washing out the first semi-final clash between India and Sri Lanka yesterday, Indian eves advanced to the final by virtue of topping their pool, while Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 6 wickets in the other semi-final later in the day.
