President Pratibha Devising Patil has said India is a land of love, peace and harmony. Addressing a group of Persons of Indian Origin’s children of 18 to 26 years of age from different parts of world, she said India is country of great saints and learned persons and there is a good impression about Indians all over the world as they are hard working, cooperative and helping by nature. These 35 children were a part of Know India Programme organized by Ministry of Overseas Affairs. Sharing their experience about India, children were very much impressed by the progress and prosperity of India. Our correspondent reports that these children came before Pravasi Bharti Diwas Sammelan and visited Bihar and Uttar Pradesh during their 3 weeks' stay.
