India is amongst the top five best-performing countries on Climate Change. The latest report of Climate Change Performance Index- 2023, released at COP 27, shows Denmark, Sweden, Chile and Morocco as the only four small countries that were ranked above India. Power Ministry said, India has jumped two spots higher and now ranks 8th as per Climate Change Performance Index. The first, second and third ranks were not awarded to any country.
