Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar today said India and Japan have reached a substantive agreement on Civilian Nuclear agreement. Briefing media in New Delhi, the Foreign Secretary said there are some technical details to be sorted out, but key part of the agreement has been done. <br/><br/>Mr Jaishankar said the Japanese side was conveyed about the various aspects of India's nuclear liability regime.<br/>On whether Japanese side raised the issue of tracking of spent fuel, the foreign secretary said India has addressed the issue with a host of countries and its template on the issue<br/>satisfied all of them. <br/><br/>He also said Japan has agreed to support India's claim for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, APEC membership. On cooperation in South China sea, Mr Jaishankar said it is important to have peace and code of conduct in the region as both countries see lot of energy, and trade pass through the waters.
