India issues strong demarche to Turkey over Erdogan's J&K remarks

<span style="color: #222222;">India today issued a strong demarche to Turkey on the remarks made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an on  Jammu and Kashmir during his Pakistan visit. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to a media query, MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, these remarks reflect neither an understanding of history nor of the conduct of diplomacy. He said, they distort events of the past to advance a narrow-minded view of the present. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The MEA Spokesperson said, India finds that completely unacceptable. Mr Kumar said, India rejects the repeated attempts by Turkey to justify the cross border terrorism practiced blatantly by Pakistan. He said, these developments have strong implications for the bilateral relationship.<br />'' <br />''The demarche was made by Secretary (West) in the MEA to the Ambassador of Turkey in New Delhi today.</span>
