<span style="color: #222222;">Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) Secretary Ramesh Abhishek on Tuesday said, India is the leader in many aspects of content production and its frequency in content generation will phenomenally increase in coming years.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> Speaking at a high-level International conference on Global Digital Content Market-2018, in New Delhi today, he said, there is a need to address the challenges of the rapidly-increasing digitalization in the country. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He also stressed the importance of intellectual property and the enforcement of the laws to stop the violation. Mr Ramesh said, the department has streamlined the intellectual property right administration to protect its regime. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The conference was organized by the World Intellectual Property Organisation, WIPO. The event was aimed towards the digital content industry in the Asia-Pacific region and to highlight the major role played by India in this area. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">DG, WIPO, Francis Gurry was also present in the event. This year the Global Digital Content Market, GDCM, will showcase India's commitment to go completely digital.</span><br />''
