Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs M S Gill today assured that India is ready to eliminate the menace of doping at all levels of sports in the country. Speaking at a function in New Delhi, Dr.Gill lauded the efforts of the governemnt in establishing a state of the art dope testing laboratory in the capital as part of capacity building. The minister higlighted the services rendered by the WADA accredited National Dope Testing Laboratory which is facilitating international level services. Putting aside fears of the capital's lack of preparedness in hosting the Commonwealth Games, he stated that the capital is equipped with sophisticated infrastructure and sufficient manpower to ensure smooth running of the games.
