New Delhi has asserted that it is prepared to meet any challenge including from Taliban militants. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on the occasion of 60th Anniversary of Territorial Army, the Defence Minister Mr. A.K. Antony said that the situation in Pakistan is serious as terrorism is spreading there. Mr. Antony said that terrorism is a reality and it is the real menace to the world. He pointed that the fight against terrorism is a common challenge to all peace leaving nations and communities and everybody must act with sincerity and seriousness. The Defence Minister said, India is always prepared to meet any challenge to its territorial integrity and national security from any quarter and the security forces are keeping eternal vigilance. Replying to a query on Coastguard and Navy's joint operation 'Raksha', Mr. Antony said, the country has learned a lot of lessons from 26/11 last year. After that, now there is a coordinated effort for coastal security and Indian Navy and Coastguard are taking serious steps. He said the Government is also giving all out support to strengthen them.<br/>
