India is in talks with Chinese government regarding bid to proscribe Pathankot terrorist attack mastermind and Pak-based Jaish e Mohammad chief Masood Azhar.<br/><br/>Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said the proposal to designate Azhar as a global terrorist was not made by India but by the US, UK and France, who are permanent members of the UN Security Council.<br/><br/>He said this was a classic counter terrorism proposal and said India does not view this as a bilateral matter between India and Pakistan. Mr Swarup expressed hope that eventually China will also come around to accepting this view.
