Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal today said that India continues to be an oasis of economic growth and stability in the world and has retained its status as the fastest growing economy in the world with 7.9 per cent growth rate. Mr Goyal was speaking at a press conference held in Mumbai today. He said that Indian economy has become robust and it is the outcome of the coordinated efforts of government during the last 2 years.
