India invites Sri Lankan businessmen for investment

Sri Lankan businessmen were invited to invest in and take advantage of Indian economy at the roadshow organized in Colombo to create awareness for the Make in India Week in Mumbai. Organized by the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka, the roadshow attracted several top business leaders of the country. In his address, Mr Y K Sinha highlighted the sectors in which Sri Lanka can take immediate advantage of its proximity with India and briefed them about the changed investment climate in the country.Speaking on the occasion, the head of 15 member delegation of Sri Lankan businessmen who will be attending the Make in India Week in February, Mr Vish Govindaswamy said that he looks forward to network with top businessmen of India and the world. Minister in Government of Maharashtra, Mr Ram Shinde was present on the occasion to invite the Sri Lankan businessmen to attend the Make in India Week that is being held from 13th to 18th February in Mumbai.
