Union Minister of Telecom and ICT, Mr. Kapil Sibbal has said that India growth story is intact and the global investors should come and join the development of infrastructure sector in India. He was addressing a press conference on the sidelines of International Telecommunication Union, ITU 2012 in Dubai this evening. Mr. Sibbal said that a low cost economy, high quality of human resources, high rate of return and a vibrant democracy make India a favourable destination for investment.
The Telecom minister said that the new spectrum prices may be decided after the meeting likely to be held on 18th of October. He said Minister reiterated that roaming will be free across the country during the course of 2013.
The Telecom Minister met the ITU Secretary General, Mr. Hamadan. I. Toure, today and discussed various areas of mutual concern and strategy before the teleocom and information and communication technology sector in the coming years.
