India International Trade Fair to begin tomorrow

The India International Trade Fair (IITF) will begin tomorrow at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.<br/><br/>The 14 day annual event, organised by India Trade Promotion Organisation,ITPO will be inaugurated by President Pranab Mukherjee.<br/><br/>This year the theme of the fair is "Digital India". The theme assumes special significance for highlighting country's persistent efforts to alleviate poverty through meaningful convergence of digital technologies and e-governance. <br/>This year, the Partner Country is South Korea while the Focus Country is Belarus. In states, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand will be the Partner States while Haryana is participating as a Focus State.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that the the fair will provide an updated information on various schemes including Swachh Bharat Campaign, Clean Ganga Mission, Jan Dhan Yojana, Skill India, Crop Insurance, Start up and Stand up Campaign.<br/><br/>As many as seven thousand participants and over 150 companies from 27 countries are taking part in the fair. The countries include Australia, Afghanistan, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, , Singapore, Thailand and UK. <br/><br/>The first five day of the fair will be restricted to business and trade visitors for which the entry ticket will be 500 rupees. For general public the fair will open from 19th of this month and the entry ticket will be 60 rupees for adults and 40 rupees for children.<br/><br/>During the weekend and holiday, the entry ticket will cost 120 rupees for adult and 60 rupees for children. Tickets can be booked online and also also be purchased at ITPO counters and Delhi Metro Rail Stations. People can visit the fair from 9.30 A.M .to 7.30 P.M.
