India inks pacts with six countries for research projects

India has inked pacts with six countries, including the US and Australia, for collaborative research in science and technology. There will be a joint investment of 180 million dollars over the next five years.

A senior official of Department of Science and Technology T Ramasami said in Chennai on Saturday that they have about 83 agreements on research collaboration with various countries.
