<span style="color: #222222;">Minister of Environment, Forests and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar has said that India is in the leadership position in the field of climate change under Prime Minister Narender Modi. <br />''<br />''Talking to reporters in New Delhi Mr. Javadekar said, under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Modi, the country has taken various steps in reducing energy consumption of industries, increasing green cover and setting a target at 100GW of solar power and 175 GW renewable energy. He said the world is waiting to hear Mr Modi at the UN Climate Change Conference in New York being organised by the UN Secretary-General. The Minister said the Government has taken important steps by increasing land forest area, boosting energy efficiency and e-mobility. </span><br />
