India is in commanding position against New Zealand in the second and final cricket Test match at Wellington. At the end of second day's play New Zealand were 24 for one. They are still trailing by 222 runs with nine wickets in hand in their second innings. Pacer Zaheer Khan removed Peter Fulton for just one. Opener Hamish Rutherford and in-form Kane Williamson were at the crease at the draw of stumps.Earlier, India were all out for 438. Ajinkya Rahane cracked his maiden ton as India dished out a dominant batting display to take a massive 246-run lead and put themselves in the drivers' seat over New Zealand. Rahane scored 118 runs and Shikhar Dhawan missed out a second consecutive hundred by just two runs. Skipper Dhoni made valuable 68 runs. For New Zealand, Tim Southee, Trent Boult and Neil Wagner scalped three wickets each and James Neesham took lone remaining wicket.In the first innings, India bundled out New Zealand for a paltry score of 192 on the opening day yesterday with, Ishant Sharma capturing 6 wicket. With three full days left, India, who lost the first Test in Auckland by 40 runs, would look to win the game and level the two-match series.
