Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari has said, India is hoping for concrete measures on Maritime safety and security and blue economy in the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA) summit being held in Indonesian capital Jakarta. The Vice President reached Jakarta today a two day visit to Indonesia to attend the summit. <br/><br/>Addressing media on board, Mr. Ansari said, at the first summit level talks, India will pursue six key priority areas. He said, the priority areas are the follow up of India's aspirations concretized at the 11th Council of Ministers (COM) meeting held at Bengaluru in 2011. <br/>The Vice President while praising the role played by Indonesia in elevating the IORA ministerial talks to Summit level conference drew attention to piracy in the Indian ocean region. He also stressed the need for collective measures at IORA talks to curb the menace.<br/><br/>Mr. Ansari along with Minister of state for External Affairs General VK Singh will attend the dinner hosted by President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo tonight. Mr Singh represented India at the IORA ministerial level talks today.
