Virender Sehwag scored a blistering century to give a solid start to India in the first one-day international against Sri Lanka at Madhavrao stadium in Rajkot on Tuesday.Sachin Tendulkar and M S Dhoni also scored half centuries each to keep the run-rate as high as 8.5. India were at 313 for 3 in 37 overs with Suresh Raina and Gautam Gambhir on crease when news last came in. Earlier, Sri Lanka won the toss and put India to bat. In the Indian team, Virat Kohli is playing in place of Yuvraj Singh who has failed to recover from a finger injury. The visiting team is also without its two star bowlers Muttiah Muralitharan, who had a finger injury and Lasith Malinga who is down with flu.
