Heavy Industries Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey said that the country has significantly reduced its reliance on other nations for high-tech auto components. He said, this achievement was made possible through the launch of the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) program, which has provided incentives worth 25,938 crore rupees. Speaking in New Delhi, the Minister highlighted that 84 companies were selected based on rigorous parameters, attracting investments totaling 75,000 crore rupees.<br />''  <br />'' Mr. Pandey further discussed the government's accomplishments over the years, including the wide-range coverage of social welfare schemes. He said that the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and Atal Pension Yojana have collectively covered over 34 crore people. The Minister noted that the Mission Indradhanush campaign has successfully vaccinated more than five crore children across the country. Mr. Pandey also emphasized the government's commitment to the welfare of laborers, citing that over 44 crore 32 lakh workers have been registered under the PM Shramyogi Maandhan Yojana.<br />''
