Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said, India has a lot to offer in terms of tourism. Speaking at the inaugural of Incredible India Toursim Investors' Summit in Delhi, Mr Jaitley said India boasts of a traditional system of medicine which attracts many foreign tourists every year. He also said country has the potential to attract global students and expressed happiness that India's connectivity to the other world centres is improving. <br/><br/>He said the country has the fastest growing highway network in the world. He, however said, there is a need to preserve, improve and market the monuments in the country. Speaking about the hotel industry, the MInister said there is a need for moderately priced hotels.<br/><br/>Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said tourism sector has been identified as one of the priority areas for growth. He said government is committed to take tourism sector to new heights for which new partners are investors are required.
